This July, a group of women from Africa, Oceania, and North America will come together to organize She Leagues, a Rugby League event aiming to promote and encourage more participation among females in the sport.
Who can partake in She Leagues? Well, Jamie says…
Here’s the best part, She Leagues is open to all ladies who are interested in playing, irrespective of your age, fitness levels, level of experience, or body type. The event is a collaboration between Rachel Ankomah, a Ghanaian Rugby League player who’s also the founder of the Accra Majestics Rugby League club in Ghana, The She Will League, Flexi Africa, and NRL Barbie, all based in Australia, Tharros Org from the USA, and Sher & Lil from Canada.
She Leagues is an online campaign that launches on the 1st of July 2022 and will run throughout the entire month, so look sharp!
Hope all you ladies take advantage and partake in the event, you never know what might happen!
